Privacy & text messaging

Elusive Remodel ("we") runs this website to take project requests from homeowners and to coordinate work with licensed contractors in South Florida. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

From homeowners: name, mobile number, email, property address, project details, photos you choose to upload, and messages you send us.
From contractors: company name, contact name, phone, email, licence number, trades, service areas and business details.
Automatically: basic technical information such as your IP address, used to protect the site from abuse.

How we use it

To respond to your request, arrange a site visit and prepare a proposal.
To assign your project to a contractor and keep you updated on its progress.
To review contractor applications and offer approved contractors suitable work.

Who we share it with

When a contractor accepts your project, we share your name, phone number, property address and project details with that contractor so they can do the work. Contractors who are offered a job but have not accepted it see only the type of work, the city and the visit time. We do not sell your information.

If you ask for an AI style preview on our project form, the photo you pick is sent to OpenAI to create the preview image. We keep the preview for two hours, or with your request if you send one.

If you use the chat on our site, we keep the conversation and the contact details you give so our team can reply. If you leave the site before we answer, we send the reply by text (only if you ticked the box) or by email.

We use service providers to run the site, send email and send text messages. They process information only to provide those services.

Text messaging terms

By submitting a request and ticking the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Elusive Remodel about that request, such as confirmations and project updates.
Message frequency varies with your project. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call 305-433-3225.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep project and contractor records for as long as needed to complete the work, handle warranty questions and meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
